Great Swamp: B+ group -- CANCELED



Description: This rides starts in Kingston and heads to the Great Swamp.  It is a nice long 68 mile ride with some hills along the way ( 3300 ft of elevation). The first stop will be at Warren Bagel and Deli and we  will stop again as we ride through the Swamp for a quick break and some pictures. On the way back we will stop at Ridge Bagel and Cafe in Basking Ridge for a nice break before we finish the last leg of the ride ( one final rest stop scheduled at Sunriise Greek Deli in Milestone). The pace of this ride will be 16 - 18 mph.

Meet Time: 7:45 AM  Roll out Time: 8:00 AM

Ride Category: B+ (pace will be between 16-18 mph)

Parking Instructions:  Parking lot is directly across the street for PJ's Pancake House behind the gas station.  


Cancellations: Check the MTCCNJ Rides & Activities WhatsApp chat group (members only) for last minute updates or the Major Taylor Cycling Club of New Jersey private Facebook Group, for everyone else.


COVID-19: To minimize the spread of the virus we ask that all register from the website to avoid a paper sign in sheet at the start of the ride.  

REQUIREMENTS:
All riders must register for the ride. Let's roll out on time by registering before you arrive. This helps to quicken the check in process.

Please be sure to wear your club kit, bring your helmet, a spare inner tube, CO2 cartridge, bike pump, cell phone and a pleasant attitude.

Front and rear lights are recommended for this ride. The ride will NOT take place in rain or wet roads
