Newark to Princeton: C group



Description: Join me in celebrating my birthday by doing an 80 mile ride from Newark to Princeton. Mostly flat route with some moderate climbs with a total elevation just under 2K feet.


Ride Location: Newark Penn Station

Meet Time: 7:00 AM    Roll out Time: 7:15 AM  

Ride Category: C+ (13-15 average speed/16mph on the flats)

Ride Leader: Florence Ackerman 

Parking Instructions:  The Edison ParkFast lot is across the street from Penn Station. Free street parking in Newark on Saturday may be tough to find.


Cancellations: Check the MTCCNJ Rides & Activities WhatsApp chat group (members only) for last minute updates or the Major Taylor Cycling Club of New Jersey private Facebook Group, for everyone else.

COVID-19: To minimize the spread of the virus we ask that all register from the website to avoid a paper sign in sheet at the start of the ride.  

REQUIREMENTS:
All riders must register for the ride. Let's roll out on time by registering before you arrive. This helps to quicken the check in process.

Please be sure to wear your club kit, bring your helmet, a spare inner tube, CO2 cartridge, bike pump, cell phone and a pleasant attitude.

Front and rear lights are recommended for this ride. The ride will NOT take place in rain or wet roads
